About the role
We are looking for a Mid-Senior Information Systems Consultant to join our team and play a key role in the implementation and optimization of software solutions dedicated to student management within partner universities. The role involves direct client interaction, advanced business analysis, application configuration, and ownership of key phases within the implementation lifecycle. You will also contribute to process improvements, support junior colleagues, and actively participate in presales activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the implementation of software products for student management in client universities, based on a defined methodology and project plan.
- Actively contribute to presales activities, including preparing offers, delivering demos, and supporting client presentations.
- Provide advanced support to clients via phone, email, and Helpdesk platform for configuration, usage, troubleshooting, and new developments.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Configure and optimize applications at client sites, either remotely or on-site, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Plan and execute testing activities during implementation and development phases.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to end users and key users.
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices within the team.
- Document, track, and report activities in internal systems, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role or in IT project implementation.
- Proven experience in client interaction and cross-functional teamwork.
- Intermediate to advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel when required.
Nice to have
- Experience in end-to-end IT project implementation.
- Strong background in business analysis, including process and data flow modeling.
- Experience in delivering training sessions or workshops.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL).
- University degree in economics (e.g., Economic Informatics).
- Experience working with higher education systems or similar domains.
